Christmas Traditions

Today in Germany we celebrate “Nikolaus” (Saint Nicholas’ Day). A day where all children hope to find sweets and sometimes small gifts in their shined shoes.

Some of the traditions I found on the internet are not really something I think of as German. But this site has a very good and extensive summary. They have summaries for many countries though I can not speak to their accuracy ;)

But let’s see how well you know the worldwide Christmas traditions. I prepared a small Christmas Traditions Quizz for you. Download the PDF, cut out the “cards” and try to match the country with the tradition.
