24 blocks:
sew (1) 9″ block
(your total should now be 4)

24 quilt top:
sew (2) 3″ blocks
(your total should now be 3)

36 blocks:
sew (1) 9″ and (1) 3″ block
(your total should now be (4) 9″ blocks and (2) 3″ blocks)

36 quilt top:
sew (3) 3″ blocks
(your total should now be 6)
