Although I have participated in a few, this is my first time hosting a sew along. So I hope every bit of information that you need, will be here. Otherwise don’t hesitate to leave me a comment. I am already very excited and hope we will have lots of fun!

The Basics
The pattern is block based and so you have many options to adapt it to your liking. It has some relatively small pieces, but the sewing itself is pretty easy and straight forward.
The Leafy Quilt Sew Along will be eight weeks long. You will find a weekly post here on my blog. But also sign up for the newsletter. It will send you the information and make sure you can’t miss anything!

You will need the Leafy* pattern by Elizabeth Hartman. Make sure to buy and have your copy ready for the start on the 25th of August.

Tip: Remember to re-calculate if you plan to make any changes to the size!
Notions
You will need the “normal” patchwork and quilting supplies.
You don’t need an exclusive tool for this pattern.
These are the ones I can think of: Rotary cutter, cutting mat, inch ruler, pencil or other marking tool of your choice, pins, sewing machine, iron, seam ripper… (not extensive)
Prizes
Who doesn’t love the chance to win something?
At the end of the Sew Along we will have a link-up party. Everyone having finished a top of at least the small quilt size during the Sew Along can link up their picture. You can link up a picture from a blog post but also from Instagram. And then we all put on some happy music, get our streamers ready and dance around through all the great accomplishments to leave party gifts aka joyous comments.
Every link-up aka finished quilt top equals one ticket for the following amazing prizes.
