I have added a few days for you all to link up…
The eighth week was supposed to be about catching up. And instead for me personally it was the first time falling behind… I am really sorry about this delay… but I guess that is life and if you do not have the whole sew along preplanned and written up, there is a chance this can happen.
So I have just added a few days for you to link up your finishes and will draw the winners a week later.
This week’s progress
So now that I am finally back to sleeping. Here is my finished top. Drumroll….
Also a sneak peek at my backing. Do you keep your cut of corners while working on a project? I find it interesting and sometimes even beautiful. So I confess, I might do it :)
Impressive heap, right?
And I also managed to trimm my HSTs. Still not sure what I will sew, but it is a start.
Party Time: Show us your finishes!
The Link-Up rules are very easy:
- Link up your finished project. Everything starting from top stage counts as finished for this purpose :)
- If your top is at least the size of the small quilt, your finished top/project equals one ticket for the amazing prizes.
- And then put on some happy music, get our streamers ready and dance around through all the great accomplishments linked up here to leave party gifts aka joyous comments.
You can link up from a blog post but also from Instagram. If you need a little help, Katy of The Littlest Thistle has a great tutorial on how to link up. And Marci of Marci Girl Designs has a post on how to link up from Instagram.
Second Chance Link-Up
Remember to post your progress with the hashtag #leafyquiltsewalong. And tag me @mellmeyer if you want to.
And now that we are through with this quilt along… Check if you have signed up for the newsletter yet. I plan to send you an email with what is going on once a month. And that way you will see right away if there is a new sew along coming up :)
